PPC Magic
Remarketing & retargeting agency

Remarketing that brings buyers back, without stalking them

Most people don't buy or enquire on their first visit. Remarketing brings them back with the right message at the right time across Google, YouTube, Meta and LinkedIn, and stops once they've converted.

  • Audiences built from real buying signals
  • Consent Mode and privacy rules handled
  • Frequency caps and converter exclusions

What's included

A remarketing setup that respects your buyers

01

Audience design

Segments based on what people did: pricing page visitors, cart abandoners, video viewers, lapsed customers, open opportunities.

02

Cross-platform reach

The same audiences used on Google Search, YouTube, Display, Meta and LinkedIn, so you follow up wherever your buyers spend time.

03

Customer Match

Your CRM and customer lists uploaded securely for upsell, win-back and excluding people who've already bought.

04

Message sequencing

Different ads for different stages: proof for people comparing, an offer for people who stalled, onboarding for new customers.

05

Frequency control

Caps and membership windows so nobody sees the same ad twenty times a day for three months.

06

Consent-ready tracking

Consent Mode v2 and platform tags set up so audiences keep building legally in the UK and EU.

Why remarketing is usually the cheapest win in an account

Most websites convert somewhere between 2% and 5% of visitors. The other 95% or so leave, and plenty of them were genuinely interested. They were at work, on their phone, comparing options, or waiting to check with someone.

Remarketing is how you stay in front of those people. Because the audience already knows who you are, the clicks tend to be cheaper and the conversion rates higher than cold prospecting. For many of the accounts we take over, a well-built remarketing layer is one of the first things we add.

It's also easy to get wrong. The classic mistake is one audience of "all visitors, 540 days" shown the same banner everywhere. That annoys people, wastes budget on visitors who bounced in two seconds, and keeps chasing customers who already bought.

The audiences we build first

AudienceWindowWhat we show them
Cart or checkout abandoners1-14 daysReassurance, delivery and returns info, sometimes an offer
Pricing or demo page visitors1-30 daysCase studies, comparisons, a reason to book now
Engaged visitors (2+ pages or 60s+)30-90 daysYour strongest proof and a clear next step
Video viewers (50%+)30-90 daysThe follow-up to the video they watched
Existing customersOngoingUpsells and cross-sells, or excluded entirely
Open sales opportunities (B2B)While the deal is openProof aimed at the other people in the buying group

Windows are starting points. We adjust them to your sales cycle: a two-day window for fast ecommerce, six months or more for enterprise B2B.

How we set up remarketing

  1. 1

    Tags and consent

Google tag, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag set up through Tag Manager, with Consent Mode v2 so audiences keep growing within the rules.

  2. 2

    Audiences from behaviour

GA4 audiences and platform audiences built around real intent signals, plus Customer Match lists from your CRM.

  3. 3

    Exclusions

Recent converters, existing customers (where it makes sense), job seekers and people who bounced immediately are excluded.

  4. 4

    Creative by stage

Ads written for what each audience is thinking, rather than one generic banner that tries to speak to everyone.

  5. 5

    Measure incrementally

Remarketing always looks good in last-click reports. Where budgets allow we run holdout tests to check how many of those sales are truly extra.

Remarketing and privacy

In the UK and EU, you need consent before placing advertising cookies, and Google requires Consent Mode v2 for advertisers who want to keep using remarketing and personalised audiences with EEA users. Without it, your lists quietly stop growing.

We set this up with your cookie banner, so tags respect people's choices and Google can still model conversions for users who decline. We also keep sensitive categories (health, finance, personal hardship) out of remarketing where platform policies don't allow it. Healthcare advertisers in particular need to be careful here, and our healthcare PPC team knows the rules.

Pricing

Management starts at $1,199 a month on our PPC packages. The fee steps up in fixed brackets as spend grows instead of taking a percentage, so we're never rewarded just for spending more of your money.

Remarketing budgets are usually small compared with prospecting: often 10-20% of total spend, limited by how many people visit your site. It's typically included when we manage your wider PPC or paid social.

In practice, nothing. Google calls it remarketing, most other platforms call it retargeting. Both mean showing ads to people who've already interacted with your website, app, videos or customer list.
